Infertility

At Wilgers Infertility Clinic we consider all available options before embarking on any specific course of treatment. As part of our comprehensive services our standard laboratory procedures include oocyte and spindle imaging for all our IVF and ICSI patients. Laser assisted hatching is performed  on embryos when required. 

We believe it is essential that couples are physically and emotionally prepared for the process; therefore we regard, supportive counseling, central to a positive experience.

Infertility in men is often caused by problems with sperm production and getting the sperm to reach the the egg.

Combined Infertility

Sometimes the problem is more complex involving both parties.

The main aim of most assisted reproductive techniques, is to help egg and sperm unite successfully, and, in the the process, bypassing some of the problems that cause  infertility. The appropriate type of assisted conception treatments depends upon the results of various tests and investigations. These may include: ovulation induction, laparoscopic surgery, artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization (IVF), intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), gamete intra fallopian tube transfer (GIFT) etc.
